Why I chose Audio Technica ATR3350iS?

The audio from the headphone-mic things, unless it’s a really high quality one, donot produce good quality sound, nor do the smartphones. Most smartphones these days have a decent camera, excellent stills. But then again the video quality is not that great, unless it’s a flagship. While with flagships do improve on the video quality, the phones still lack a good microphone. the sound they record is tinny and sounds hollow, with lots of noise and background sounds. Even better are DSLR’s for the videos, but they still have a crappy on-board mic, which picks up a lot of noise and sounds hollow, sometimes it feels like it is echoing. The sound they capture is not at all presentable professionally. Still one should not complain about the mic on these devices, because they are primarily built for some other job, and that’s more often than not, a job well done!

External microphones, such as the Audio Technica AR3350iS is what comes to the rescue. And the reason I chose this to be my first audio upgrade is, it plugs to almost any device with a 3.5mm microphone jack, it produces accurate sound, it is tiny, and I’ve read and heard great things about it.
